“Isaac are 30-seven-years datemyage old at his binding… Whenever Abraham returned off Attach Moriah, at that extremely moment Sarah passed away, and you can Isaac was then thirty-seven; at you to very date Abraham is told out of Rebekah’s birth; Thus We find One REBECCA Try 3 years Dated When SHE Partnered ISAAC.” (Pesikta Zutrata (Lekah Tov), Gen. twenty-four., Midrashic commentary on Pentateuch, by Rabbi Tobiah Ben Eliezer)
Another verse corroborates with the earlier evidences revealed one to Rebekah, is a highly litttle lady whenever she got partnered. She was so younger that she needed a nursing girl that have her whenever she are hitched out-of:
“Chances are they told you, “Let us label the students woman and get their regarding it.” 58 So they really named Rebekah and you can questioned the woman, “Do you really fit into this kid?” “I could go,” she said. 59 So that they sent the sibling REBEKAH On her behalf Ways, Along with her Nursing assistant and you may Abraham’s slave along with his guys. sixty And privileged Rebekah and you may believed to her.” – Genesis -sixty
In the event the Rebekah try a person woman because some keeps presumed, whom attained full womanhood, why should she you want a beneficial ‘nursing woman’ to help you match the woman?
