AirVPN has a great reputation in the VPN community as a privacy-focused service. Their no-logging policy, open source apps and refusal to use PPTP and L2TP/IPsec are just one of the ways they value your privacy. Their server network is tiny and their user interface is clunky.
AirVPN’s desktop client has a resemblance of Windows 98 and is geared towards users who are tech-savvy. They are comfortable with changing several options and settings that are available in the menus. It’s daunting for the average user who has no technical knowledge but if you have the time and willingness to learn, it’s among our favorite VPNs.
AirVPN’s three-day trial is more generous than others. Then you can choose the plan that best suits your requirements. There are plans ranging from three months or six months, to two years, or even a lifetime subscription. You can pay for your subscription using various options, including PayPal, credit cards and even Bitcoin.
AirVPN has only 200 servers spread across 23 countries. It does offer good DNS leak protection and is very secure. Its no-logging policy can be a great choice for those concerned about their privacy. They are able to do this by offering cryptocurrencies as a payment option, and allowing temporary email addresses.
