Asus is one of the top names in gaming laptops, right up with Alienware and other industry heavyweights. Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has a wide range of products that fit all budgets, including low-cost models and powerful models with the most recent GPU and processor technology.
Despite its high-end specs, the ROG Strix Scar www.newsoftwareideas.com/top-antivirus-comparison-guide-avira-vs-avast-in-2020/ 16 is a portable machine. The 17-inch display is 244Hz – 144Hz and has a resolution of 1080 pixels. This is sufficient to provide an immersive experience. The battery can last for 6-8 hours with mixed use and the fans are quiet when they are under load.
The Scar 16 has a design that’s a little gamer-like but not too flashy. Its prismatic lid is the most striking feature. It catches light and shines through 8,279 tiny gaps to create the effect of a rainbow. The hinge that displays the laptop’s display lifts the back of the chassis, which improves airflow and allows the keyboard to slope towards you. Asus calls this hinge the ErgoLift.
This laptop is great for gaming, but it can also handle other tasks that require processing like video editing or image manipulation. It’s loaded with ports that are included, including USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-C, HDMI 2.0b and a 3.5mm combo connector. There’s also a dedicated SD slot. Its speakers are loud however they can turn shrill and distort when you play them at a high volume, so you’ll probably need to pair it with headphones. The only downside is small unwanted programs you’ll need to get rid of including McAfee Personal Security and the Dolby App.
