AVG vpn netflix provides an impressive selection of features at a inexpensive price. It doesn’t store any records of its activities however, it uses the OpenVPN protocol to secure users. It unblocks Netflix US, BBC iPlayer and Hulu. It also provides more than eight P2P servers for torrenting. Its application has a simple and clutter-free interface. It is possible to set the software to automatically connect to your VPN when you connect to a wi fi network, or manually select the networks you want to connect to. Go to the Network Security menu and click the Edit Networks button. Here, you can choose which wi-fi networks you want to allow the VPN to connect to, and you can also activate or disable the automatic connection upon startup.
Unfortunately, AVG Secure VPN has several serious flaws that prevent it from being among the top choices on market. Its server network is comparatively small. In our tests, Netflix was only available on five of the five specialized streaming servers. Netflix also blocked some of its servers for unknown reasons.
Another problem is that AVG Secure VPN doesn’t have monthly pricing plans, just annual subscriptions. This makes it more expensive than many of its competitors, which have lower monthly subscriptions. The customer support channels offered by NordVPN are also limited and not very helpful. We suggest looking at other options such as Surfshark ExpressVPN or NordVPN.
