They had so many adorable, sweet, wonderful and heartfelt moments in the last few episodes and it was a joy to witness them grow as people and as a couple. The actors did a fabulous job with these roles and they’ve definitely put those two on the map for me. The ending left me wanting more, idk I just didn’t like the ending that much even though that kiss was amazing. They kept mentioning a plot twist so much that I thought it was going to be something epic, but all it was was whats her name getting knocked up by that one doctor guy. However, I loved that Gi Tae’s mom found her happiness in the end.

Like W (I won’t call him mine, because he clearly is not), I have a twenty-year relationship under my belt. That ended in a divorce that I had initially not wanted, but came to be grateful for. It was a shock when my ex left me, I didn’t see it coming, and only later would realize how much he had hidden from me, including an affair of sorts with his closest colleague. I am in my 40s, have been dating a W, 54, for almost three years. Have been… or had been, until this week when he requested a break. As I take this time to reflect, I would appreciate words of wisdom from those who have been there.
She asks Ki-tae to wait, but he rightly says if they wait until all the drama is over, it will never happen. Outside, Ki-tae hugs Jang-mi and tells her to go see her mom, and he’ll stay with Dad. She says sadly that their bet is over since her parents will never see eye-to-eye, but Ki-tae still has hope.
I think I’ve fleetingly met a cast member or two, but I don’t know them. I’m not sure this novel would exist if Pete Davidson didn’t exist. But even so, I would not say that there’s a Pete Davidson in the book. Noah has a career that resembles certain real musicians’, or I think of his music as most resembling some real people’s, but he has his own personality.

Most obvious, of course, is that Jang-mi and Ki-tae have finally realized their feelings and gotten to the point where they’re ready to stop worrying about what everyone else thinks, and just go for their own happiness. Definitely Jang-mi had further to go in this area, because all her life she’s put others before herself even to her own detriment, so I appreciate how hard it was for her to figure out that her own needs are important too. I think she needed to see her parents hit rock bottom to understand that not only can she not help them have a good relationship if they aren’t willing to do the work themselves, but it’s not her job. Who she marries, or even if she marries, could never hold them together on a long-term basis if they don’t want it for themselves. So to see them fall apart was important for Jang-mi, because she needed that giant metaphorical slap in the face to understand that no matter what she does, her parents’ relationship is their job to manage, not hers.
I cried when the three ladies cried when grandma finally let go of her daughter in law and cried again when mum offered to live with the other 2 ladies and left dad to go eat crap for all they cared.. I admit that this drama kinda bored me halfway through it and I actually stopped watching. I love Sunhwa and Jinwoon but omg their characters are so annoying. Then the bestfriend was just annoying too. 16 episodes later Im so happy with this couple, Im going to miss them. This drama made me laugh, even cry a little and made me care for many of the characters.
All of the wedding guests run for cover, leaving Ki-tae and Jang-mi to stand in the rain at the altar all alone. Jang-mi says in voiceover that in life, the worst things happen during the best times, but you can get through life because the best things also come with the worst. Mom turns to go but Dad grabs her arm, crying that he’s lost everything so what good is love?

Finally Mom says she’ll just get it out of Dad in alimony, and takes her suitcase and leaves. Jang-mi pleads with Dad to stop her, but he says he’ll be staying at the restaurant and also goes. Jang-mi is left alone, the same as she was when she was a child. Instinctively she starts to call Ki-tae, but stops herself and just goes to bed, crying herself to sleep. When Ki-tae gets home, Grandma tells him to just kneel and beg, but he ignores her and demands to know what his mother did to Jang-mi’s mom.
He invites Ki-tae to the wedding, who tentatively asks if Jang-mi will be there. He insists that Yeo-reum is just a fling, and says that he doesn’t get why it matters when there’s https://datingupdates.org/ a two-timer living right in this house. Mom slaps him hard, and tells him to get out. She tells him not to get married, and to live alone forever – she doesn’t care anymore.
The fact that he did all those things is just his way of showing love and concern to the ones he care for. It may not be super romantic, but that just makes him, him. She’s the only reason i keep watching the show. Jang-mi asks if he doesn’t have something for her like oh, maybe a ring, and when he shrugs she commands him to take the whole thing back.
